Radiosepia

Radiosepia és un grup de música melòdica i atmosfèrica de composició original de la que es desprèn un estil alternatiu amb grans influències de folk/acústic. Establerts a Barcelona, la banda ofereix regularment concerts en locals excèntrics i originals, que s'adiuen perfectament a l'estil del grup.

Radiosepia es va formar al maig del 2011 i ha sabut trobar ràpidament el seu lloc dins el moviment alternatiu musical de la ciutat comtal, tocant tant en ràdios i festivals com en sales i bars.

Els seus membres passen llargues temporades en alta mar, explorant trinxeres de corall en profunditats marines poc explorades, fotografiant les més poc freqüents espècies de peixos multicolors, mentre recuperen melodies perdudes del fons del mar per projectar-les posteriorment i de manera molt acurada en els murs dels túnels del metro de Barcelona. Inspirats en gents i experiències que els envolten, així com també en llocs als quals la seva música els transporta, desde mitjans urbans fins a les muntanyes, selves tropicals o deserts oblidats, Radiosepia és pura tinta creativa disposada a tatuar-te l'ànima desde l'arrel.

Però de qui estem parlant....?

Matt Monaghan , guitarra i veu, Manu López, baix i veu, Marta Torres, violí i veu, Chopper-Dave, bateria i percussió, i 'The Evil Seed', mandolina i xilòfon.

Radiosepia tot sovint convida a altres músics, especialment solistes amb talent, per col.laborar amb la banda.

Radiosepia play melodic, atmospheric, original songs in an alternative style, with strong folk/acoustic influences. Based in, but by no means anchored to, Barcelona,– the band play regular gigs, in atmospheric and eccentric venues - places that suit their style.

Radiosepia formed in May 2011 and quickly found their way and established themselves in the city, playing on local radio, festivals and venues across the city.

The members of the band spend a lot of time in the open oceans, exploring deep sea trenches to photograph rare fish species and rescue lost melodies that they carefully store in abandoned metro tunnels in Barcelona. They’re inspired by the people that surround them and the environments their musical travels take them to, from the dense urban environments of Barcelona, to mountain valleys, rainforest canopies or forgotten deserts.

But who are we talking about...?

Un temps et un espace. Un instant. Un mouvement. Une marche qui glisse et deviens un saut. Une manifestation de l'âme. Un geste.
                                                                                                                  Un arrêt.
Mon poid qui s'offre au sol. Le vide. Une force puissante qui m'emmene à danser ..... et qui ne s'arrête jamais .....


Un tiempo y un espacio. Un instante. Un movimiento. Unos pasos que se deslizan y se transforman en un salto. Una manifestación del alma. Un gesto.
                                                                                                                Una pausa.
Mi peso ofreciéndose al suelo. El vacío. Una fuerza que me empuja a bailar ... imposible de detenerse .....
